An interactive art installation at the Henry Art Gallery at the University of Washington in Seattle, Sanctum employs surveillance systems to generate cinematic narratives with social media content that matches the demographic profile of passers-by. Sanctum was installed during the spring of 2013 and went live in early May of the same year. This video, along with its companion James Coupe and Juan Pampin: The Collaboration Behind Sanctum  (below) explores the ideas and innovative technology behind Sanctum, the timely questions it raises, and how you can participate.
